Investel Capital Corporation has acquired RuralCom Corp

As of February 13, 2017, RuralCom Corp has changed its corporation name to TNW Wireless and is currently deploying PCS and iPCS Mobile Technology on its network.

TNW Wireless provides mobile service in northern British Colombia and in the Yukon under its Tier-2  850 MHz licenses and offers extended service reach locally, nationally, and internationally via its proprietary iPCS and  Wi-Node technology and as well as on its various wireless roaming partners.

The existing TNW Wireless infrastructure is interconnected to TNW Network’s comprehensive microwave, fiber and core provincial and national backbone network.

The deemed transfer of the TNW Wireless spectrum license (formerly Ruralcom Corp) after the acquisition of the company by Investel is subject to regulatory approval by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)
